Jenice "Judy" Tripod, 86, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville. Memorial serivces will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to:

Judy was born April 2, 1922 in Paragould, Arkansas, the daughter of Raymond and Jewel (Reagan) Colley. She married James Tripod on August 20, 1946 in Kenneth, MO. She had lived in Harrisonville since 1970. She was a homemaker.

Judy was a WWII WAC Veteran (Women's Air Corp), serving from June 27, 1944 - December 25, 1945. Judy was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and had served as President. She was a member and a Commander of the American Legion. She was also a charter member of the Harrisonville Honor Guard.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Jim, of the home; one son, Chuck Tripod and his wife, Vicki, Harrisonville, MO; three daughters, Becky Castro and her husband, Mario, Kansas City, MO, Pam Conaghan and her husband, John, Overland Park, KS and Debbie Tripod, Harrisonville, MO; 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
