Judy Ann French, 72, Harrisonville, MO, passed to her eternal home on Wednesday, May 31, 2017. A memorial gathering was held Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Care Hospice, 1626 East Elm Street, Harrisonville, MO 64701.

Judy was born April 21, 1945 in Moberly, MO, the daughter of Jesse and Dorothy (Glaser) Bagby. She was a 1963 graduate of Westran High School in Huntsville, MO. She married Larry French on December 14, 1974 in Jefferson City, MO.

Judy enjoyed many activities; golf, bowling, shopping, and gardening were her favorites. She was always quick to help out any friend that needed her and was very active in the Harrisonville VFW and Elks Lodge and was a member of the Bayard Chapter #179 Order of Eastern Star, Harrisonville. She had worked as a bookkeeper at Golden Years in Harrisonville.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Larry; daughter, Lisa Tomlinson (Scott), Chillicothe, MO; son, Chris French (Darla), Kansas City, MO; a brother, Jay Bagby (Martha), Lubbock, TX; a sister, Jean Gard (Greg), Dunedin, FL; 2 step-daughters; 8 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Judy will be missed by all that knew her and forgotten by none.
