JJuanita Ann Willis, 71, Archie, MO, died Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Archie, MO with burial in Everett Cemetery, Archie.

Juanita was born January 16, 1946 in Sedalia, MO, the daughter of Charles Glover and Dora Sophia (Walbourn) Ward. She was united in marriage to Clayton Ray Willis on June 21, 1967 in Clinton, MO. Juanita had worked at South Side Drug in Harrisonville and as a CNA for several hospitals in the Kansas City area, most recently working for West Side Residential Care and Camden Health, both in Harrisonville. Juanita loved her cats, gardening, and going to the Pleasant Hill Opry every Saturday night with her sister. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Archie.

Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton in 2001, her parents, a daughter, Shari Lynn Willis, a brother, Arthur Ward and two sisters, Lucy Owens and Jessie Freeman. She is survived by her daughter, Dora Miller, Archie, MO; two sons, Michael Carman-Willis, Austin, MO, and Marc Willis and wife, Susan, Blue Springs, MO; sister, Mary Handke, Harrisonville, MO; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
