Joyce June Stevens, 80, of Adrian, Missouri entered into eternal rest Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her home with her family by her side. A Celebration of Life was held on Monday, August 31, 2020 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Ascend Hospice.

Joyce was born on March 20, 1940 in Cass County, Missouri, a daughter of David Monroe and Rosa (Malicoat) Knox. She resided in Adrian for 64 years. She was an EMT, she ran Stevens Hardware for 40+ years, and also worked at Adrian Manor for many years as a CNA. She loved cooking family dinners and mowing her yard.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Dave & Rosa Knox; six brothers: Maurice, Cecil, Ralph, Harvey, Bill, and Larry; and one sister, Marjorie. She is survived by her son, Mark Stevens and his wife, Julie, of Adrian, MO; two grandchildren: Jason Stevens and his wife, Amy; and Hollie Ullius and her husband, Kurt of Harrisonville; 4 great-grandchildren: Tayler, Trinity, Max, and Miles; two sisters: Phyllis Hughes of Harrisonville and Mary Miller of Adrian; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
