Joyce Ann Stephens, 56, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, September 14, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Joyce was born July 28, 1953 in Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of Elmer David and Betty L. (Drehle) Street. She was a lifelong resident of Harrisonville.

Joyce was a 1972 graduate of Harrisonville High School. She was a member of Grace Christian Tabernacle in Harrisonville. She was a child care provider for many years.

Joyce was preceded in death by her father, an infant daughter, Melissa and one brother, Carl. She is survived by one son, Dustin Stephens and one daughter, Tonya Stephens, both of Harrisonville, MO; her mother, Betty Street, Harrisonville, MO; one brother, Roy Street, Harrisonville, MO and one sister, Helen Howell, Harrisonville, MO.
