Joy Pamela Johnson, 33, Lee's Summit, Missouri, died Friday, October 19, 2012 in Harrisonville, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 24 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Breasher Cemetery in Jerico Springs, Missouri. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23 at the chapel. Joy Pamela Johnson (neé Childress), mother of Nicholas Dane Dorsey, wife of Mark Alan Johnson, lost her life on October 19th, 2012.

Joy was preceded in death by her brother, AJ, her father, James Phillip and her grandfather, Preston. She is survived by her grandmother Cleola, grandfather Herman, mother Terry, sister Dala, brother Matthew, uncles Paul and Gary, aunt Marci, nieces Ashton and Kelsey, nephews Cody, David and Logan, great nephew Kelton, and a wealth of friends and family that were touched by her involvement in their lives.

Lover of photography, the stars, poetry and music…you will be sorely missed. To my Pisces lady, safe journey...the music we shared will be as a soundtrack for my life, for all time…
