Joseph "Mitch" Mitchel Durbin, 55, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at his home. A Celebration of Life visitation was held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at  the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO.

Mitch was born April 14, 1967 in Harrisonville, MO to Walter Joseph and Norma Jean (Yoder) Durbin. He was a life-long Harrisonville resident, and a 1985 graduate of Harrisonville High School. He worked in the Parts and Service department at Lee's Summit Dodge. Mitch enjoyed hunting and fishing, spending time with family and friends and sharing BBQ that he smoked on his Traeger.

Mitch was preceded in death by his parents, and his infant sister, Charlotte Durbin. He is s urvived by two brothers: David Durbin , of Warsaw, MO; and Chad Durbin and his wife, Natalie , of Fayetteville, AR ; nieces and nephews: Sarah Stebbins and Ian Durbin, both of Warsaw, MO;  Bailey Durbin and Austin Durbin of Springfield, MO and Logan Bannister and wife Jordan, Norfork, VA.
