Joleta Gale Greer, 65, Adrian, Missouri, died Monday, October 12, 2015 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, Missouri. Joleta was born January 9, 1950 in Mobile, Alabama, the daughter of James and Gwendolyn (Rigby) Bacon. She studied education at Mid-America Nazarene College and Florissant Valley Community College, St. Louis, Missouri. She also studied music at Washington University in St. Louis. She also attended Central Florida Insurance School in St. Petersburg, Florida, receiving general lines P & C License (220) with CEU requirements.

Joleta is survived by two sons, Jason Greer (Donna), Adrian, Missouri and Ryan Greer (Kelly), Columbia, Missouri; one daughter, Chalanda Greer (Todd Daniels), Lamar, Missouri; her parents, James and Gwendolyn Bacon, Bridgeton, Missouri; four brothers, Terry Bacon (Brenda) Ocala, Florida, Rick Bacon (Fran Ault), Hollywood, Florida, Neill Bacon (Arthur Verrill), St. Petersburg, Florida, Ricky Bacon (Cynthia), Jersey City, New Jersey; one sister, Denise Bacon; 7 grandsons, and 1 granddaughter.
