Johnnie Jewell Reynolds, 84, Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville.  Funeral services were held Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.   Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Johnnie was born April 25, 1934 in Butler, MO, the son of Strawther J. and Jessie Mae (Morton) Reynolds.  He grew up in Butler and had lived in Harrisonville for 39 years.  He married Betty Jo Howe on July 5, 1984.

Johnnie was a carpenter and a cook for local nursing homes.  He had also worked for Cass County Monument in Harrisonville.  He attended Everett Community Church.

Johnnie was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Evelyn Roberts.  He is survived by his wife, Betty, of the home; brothers-in-law, Charles Howe and Don Howe; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
