John Wesley "Jake" McCubbin Jr. 21, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, October 26, 2007 at his home in Harrisonville. Funeral services 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Burial in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville. Family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, October 29, at the chapel. Contributions may be made to the Harrisonville High School Football Program.

Jake was born December 3, 1985 in Harrisonville, the son of John W. and Lois (Kendrick) McCubbin. Jake was a life long Harrisonville resident and a 2004 graduate of Harrisonville High School.

Jake is survived by his father, John W. McCubbin, Harrisonville, MO; his mother, Lois McCubbin, Harrisonville, MO; a brother, Larry McCubbin, Harrisonville, MO; two sisters, Tammy Cusick, East Lynne, MO and Lisa Locke, Harrisonville, MO; his maternal grandmother, Dorothy Kendrick, Warrensburg, MO.
