John Marland, 59, Cleveland, MO, died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his home.  Inurnment to be held at a later date in New Bedford, MA.

John was born February 21, 1960 in New Bedford, MA, the son of James and Jean (Lake) Marland.  John married Sheila Ann Cruz on June 20, 1981 in New Bedford.  John had lived in Cleveland for the past 28 years.  He was an auto mechanic and had worked for various car dealerships, and had worked in the produce department at Price Chopper in Harrisonville.  He also raised pigeons.

John was preceded in death by his father and two sisters.  He is survived by his wife, Sheila, of the home; his mother, Jean Marland, of New Bedford, MA; one brother, Richard Marland, of Florida; and three sisters, Christine Magalhaes, of Florida, Jane Maltese, of Maine, and Paula Lima, of New Bedford.
