John (Corkey) Herrick Johnson, 93, of Camdenton, MO passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at Lake Regional Health System. Funeral Services were held Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Interment, with military honors  at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville.

John was born March 24, 1929 to Thomas Herrick and Oleta Gertrude (Sloan) Johnson in Harrisonville, MO. He was a member of the Air Force and was honorably discharged October 31, 1959. He married the love of his life, Jennie Lee England, on January 28, 1950 and never lost the twinkle in his eyes when he saw her. He worked at Ford Motor Company in Claycomo, MO where he worked for 30 years and was very proud of being retired for 42 years. He was a founding member of the Antioch Bible Baptist Church in Gladstone, MO, almost 60 years ago and was a strong and faithful member.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Herrick Johnson and Oleta Gertrude Price; and daughter, Theresa Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Jennie Johnson; his son, Thomas (Billi) Johnson; his daughter, Pam (Don) Vaughan; his son, Earl (Angie) Johnson; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Guy(Shelia) Johnson; and sisters: Barbara (Earl) and Phyllis.
