 John was born April 18, 1989 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Wendy (Howe) Shelton and John Stone.  He attended Harrisonville High School.  John worked for Land Roofing Company in Harrisonville.  He enjoyed listening to music, riding his bike, and spending time with his family. 

 John is survived by his mother, Wendy (Howe) Shelton (Bret); his father, John Stone; one sister, Jennifer Van Fossen; one brother, Joseph Switzer; his grandparents: Debbie Nelson and Mike Howe; his aunt, Samantha Howe; and his nieces and nephews: Saphira Gall, and Trinity, Tina and Xavier Howe.
