John T. Dods, 57, Archie, MO, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at his home in Archie. Services 10:00 AM Tuesday, December 18 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO. Burial in the Everett Cemetery, Archie, MO. The family will recieve friends 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday, December 17, 2007 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville. Contributions may be made to the Everett Community Church, Archie, MO.

John was born November 20, 1950 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Stuart and Edna Marie (Evans) Dods. He was a 1969 graduate of Grandview High School. John was united in marriage to JoAnne Lindquist on June 21, 1986.

John had worked at Sioux Chief Mfg. as a machinist for 20 years. He was a member of the Everett Community Church in Archie. John had lived in Archie for over 20 years.

John was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jimmy and Douglas Dods. He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Dods, of the home; two sons, Brian Briggs and his wife, Amanda, Belton, MO and Evan Dods, of the home; two daughters, Robyn Dods and Hannah Dods, both of the home; one brother, Bruce Dods, Grandview, MO and one grandson, Jayce Briggs.
