Joann Ruse McQueen, 78, Harrisonville, MO, formerly of St, Joseph, MO, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Benchmark Healthcare of Harrisonville. She was born September 18, 1933 to Walter and Clara Leone (Marshall) Ruse.
Joann is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Russell E. McQueen, two brothers, Forrest Ruse and Earl Ruse, and one sister Helen Gallup. She is survived by two sons, Pawnee McDowell and Jimmy McDowell; four daughters, Peggy McDowell Frizzel, Susan McDowell Gentry, Penny McDowell Zumwalt and Carrie McQueen; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
