Jinnie Raye Boyer, 51 of Wellsville, KS, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Bonner Springs Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Bonner Springs, KS. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 11:00-1:00 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Benton Green Cemetery in Roscoe, MO.
Jinnie was born April 15, 1959 in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Jimmie D. and Roberta (Warner) Smith. She was a 1977 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Jinnie was a member of the Harrisonville First Baptist Church and later transferred to Pleasant Hope Baptist Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked as managers of different restaurants until she became disabled. She enjoyed stock car racing, crafts, country music, jigsaw puzzles and watching TV shows.
Jinnie was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie D. Smith, one brother, Jimmie Charles, one grandson, Jordan, her grandparents, her mother-in-law and one brother-in-law, plus aunts and uncles. She is survived by her caring and giving husband of 21 years, Victor Boyer of Kansas; four daughters, Charity and Henry Rodriguez, April Stalder, Stephanie Stalder of Kansas and Leann and Mickey Domines of Missouri; one son, Lloyd and Sara Boyer of Kansas and seven grandchildren; her mother, Roberta Smith of Missouri; four sisters, Robin and Johnny Reed, Shirley and Richard Reid, all of Arkansas and Diana and Gary Johnson of Missouri and Patty and Jack Butler of Missouri; many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
