MARGARET ROSE (PARSONS) MILLER

Jimmy Danny Miller, 79, of Warsaw, Missouri, formerly of Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at his home in Warsaw. Margaret Rose (Parsons) Miller, 76, of Warsaw, MO, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2022, also at her home in Warsaw. A Memorial Visitation for Jimmy and Margaret was held on Saturday, October 22, 2022  at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Inurnment will take place at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Benton County Hospice.

Jimmy was born January 9, 1943 in Harrisonville, Mo, a son of William Smith and Lena May (Pennington) Miller. He had lived in Harrisonville and Raymore, MO before moving to Warsaw.  He was a 1961 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Jimmy was a union carpenter and worked in commercial construction. Jimmy was united in marriage to Margaret Parsons on May 2, 1975.

Margaret was born November 14, 1945 in Little Rock, AR, a daughter of George and Blanche (Lee) Parsons. Margaret lived in Lee's Summit for 37 years; then the Belton/Raymore area before settling in Warsaw. She spent her career as a Corporate Librarian with AT&T, retiring after 35 years of service. After her retirement from AT&T, Margaret worked for the IRS and retired again after 15 years.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Jack Miller; and two sisters, Betty Miller and Jean Anderson. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. Jimmy and Margaret are survived by Jimmy's two sons: Carl (Cindy) Miller, Warsaw, MO; and Doug (Mel) Miller Kirkwood, MO; Margaret's son, Terry "T.L." Williams, Galveston, TX; Jimmy's brother and sister, Bill Miller and Janie Miller, both of Harrisonville, MO; Margaret's brother, George Parsons; eight grandchildren: Teresa, Sara, Lizzy, Tyler, Britney, Henry, Weston, and Rowan; and one great-granddaughter, Coralynn.
