Jimmy Lee McCoy, 60, Archie, Missouri, died Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, Missouri with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice.

Jimmy was born August 5, 1955 in Humansville, Missouri, the son of Alvin Lee Thomas and Donna Jean (Bishop) McCoy. He attended Archie schools. Jimmy worked at the Buerge Grain Elevator in Garden City, Missouri. He had lived in Butler before moving to Archie last year.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Donna McCoy and one nephew, Joseph Patrick McCoy. He is survived by his father, Alvin McCoy, Harrisonville, Missouri; one son, John Michael McCoy, Windsor, Missouri; two brothers, David McCoy, Kansas City, Missouri and Gary McCoy, Butler, Missouri; two sisters, Janice McCoy, Harrisonville, Missouri and Sandi Reynolds, Adrian, Missouri; 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
