Obituary
Jimmie Richard Fields, 77 of Butler, MO, died Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 18, 2009 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday at the chapel. Burial will be in Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville.
Jimmie was born January 22, 1932 in Stockton, MO, the son of Obie and Luree (McCubbin) Fields. He had lived in Butler for 20 years. Jimmie worked as a truck driver for 20 years before retiring in 1987. He enjoyed fishing and camping.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Frances Pauline, on February 24, 2000, three sisters and three brothers. He is survived by one sister, Goldie Coonce of Grandview, MO; his companion, Joann Carpenter of Butler, MO and many nieces and nephews.
