Jerry Eugene Haston, 74, of Garden City, MO passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at his home.  Memorial Service were held Saturday, March 26, 2022 at  the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri.  Memorial contributions may be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Jerry was born October 24, 1947 to James Edwin Haston and Agnes M. (Smithe) Haston in Kansas City, MO. He attended High School in the Kansas City area. After school, he began his career, primarily working in management and as a mechanic until he bought his dad's company, Roll-Off Service, and became the owner/operator for 25 years until his retirement in 2021. He went on to marry Lana Baird on April 1, 2016. Jerry was a car buff, enjoying classic cars to own, work on, or look at. He also loved fishing, relaxing with his family, and even being talked into boating as long as you let him have his life jacket. His hard working personality and love for his family will leave an everlasting memory of the good man he was to all those who knew him.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Lana Haston, of the home; son, Jamie Hutchison; his daughter, Seanna Haston; his estranged son, Russell Haston; his brother, James Haston; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and extended family and friends.
