Jerome "Jerry" L. Elliott, 66, Archie, MO, died Sunday, October 7, 2007 in Joplin, MO. Funeral services 10:30 AM Thursday, October 11 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Visitation 6:00-7:30 PM Wednesday, October 10 at the chapel. Burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian, MO. Contributions may be made to the Asbury, MO Fire Department.

Jerry was born January 6, 1941 in Joplin, MO, the son of W. O. and Edythe (Lane) Elliott. He was a 1958 graduate of Carl Junction, MO High School. He was a graduate of Pittsburg State University and was a member of Phi Sigma Epsilon. Jerry married Mary Anne Alexander on May 22, 1965 at the Asbury, Missouri Methodist Church.

Jerry was a member of the Asbury, Missouri Methodist Church, the Archie Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite. He enjoyed going to the lake and fishing and hunting. He and Mary Anne also enjoyed going to Sturgis, South Dakota for the motorcycle rally.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Daulton. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary Anne Elliott, of the home; one daughter, Ashley Whitehead and her husband, Evan, Dripping Springs, TX; one son, Kevin Elliott and his wife, Mia, Asbury, MO and two grandsons, Devin and Logan Elliott, Asbury, MO.
