Jeffrey Brandon Sparks, 35, Kansas City, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, October 31, 2008 at Truman Medical Center, Kansas City, MO, due to injuries received in a car accident. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at the Antioch Southern Baptist Church, Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Southern Baptist Church Youth Group, 2601 East Mechanic Street, Harrisonville, MO 64701.

Brandon was born April 25, 1973 in Harrisonville, the son of Bill and Patricia (McFerron) Sparks. He was a 1991 graduate of Harrisonville High School. He was baptized at age 9 and attended Antioch Southern Baptist Church with his family.

Brandon enjoyed playing baseball and football as a child and was active in cub scouts and boy scouts. He enjoyed being outdoors and hunting and fishing with his family. Brandon worked in construction.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jeff McFerron. He is survived by one daughter, Samantha, and his parents, Bill and Patricia Sparks, Harrisonville, MO; three brothers, David Sparks and his wife, Kathy and Kevin Sparks and his wife, Ashley, all of Harrisonville, and Gabriel Sparks, Kansas City, MO; his grandparents, Mary McFerron and Joseph and Marguriete Sparks, all of Harrisonville and one nephew, Daniel Sparks, Harrisonville.

Brandon was loved and will be greatly missed by his family.
