Jeanette Arlene Bedgood, 64, of Spring Hill, KS, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, passed from this life on September 20, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO.

Jeanette was born in Harrisonville, MO on August 14, 1947 to Thurman and Ina (Hastings) Johnson.

Jeanette enjoyed collecting family photos, music, spending time with her children and her grandchildren, the ocean, and being outdoors.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Bedgood and wife, Alicia, of Liberty, MO, John Bedgood of Ft. Scott, KS, David McCarty of Independence, MO, Brian Bedgood and wife, Michelle, of Sherwood, AR and Patricia Baty of Kansas City, MO; grandchildren, Cindy Baty, Sandra McCarty Blickenstaff, DJ McCarty, Anna McCarty, Christian Manns, Bailey Bedgood, Jackson Bedgood, Kale Bedgood, Brianna Bedgood, Mickenzie Bedgood, Emmy Bedgood; great-grandchildren, Amara Baty, & Raneara Cunningham; siblings, LV Johnson of Harrisonville, MO, Bev Goucher of Roseville, CA and Joyce Williamson of Palm Coast, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thurman & Ina Johnson, an infant brother, Meryle Johnson and a granddaughter, Alicia McCarty.
