Jason Christopher Hillyer, 33, of Harrisonville, Missouri died Sunday, August 5, 2007 near Horton, Vernon County, Missouri. Memorial services 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. Cremation. Contributions may be made to the family.

Jason was born August 21, 1973 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Richard Burdette and Beverly Jean (Arnold) Hillyer Jr. Jason was a lifelong Harrisonville resident and a 1991 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Jason was a Navy veteran and owned and operated Hillyer Trucking.

Jason was preceded in death by his father, Richard B. Hillyer, Jr. and his grandfather, Richard B. Hillyer Sr. He is survived by his mother, and step-father, Beverly Jean and Jimmy R. Hicks, Harrisonville; one brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Tara Hillyer, Raymore, MO; two step-brothers, Justin Hicks and Jeffrey Hicks, both of Harrisonville; a niece, Alexyss C. Hillyer and a nephew, Matthew Michael Hillyer; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Betty Jean and Charles Mackey, Columbia, MO; one uncle, Garry W. Arnold, Columbia, MO; three aunts, Janet Arnold, Simi Valley, CA, Jo Ann Arnold, Manila, Ark. and Debbie Arnold, Bentonville, Ark. And two cousins, Micci and Jennifer Thompson, Bentonville, Ark.
