Janice Ann (Branham) Casey, 71, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at Golden Years Care Center in Harrisonville. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 7 at the IOOF Cemetery in Neosho, Missouri. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 4 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.

Janice was born June 6, 1944 in Neosho, Missouri, the daughter of Roy and Ida Florine (Jackson) Branham. She was a 1962 graduate of Neosho High School and was Homecoming Queen in 1961. She had lived in St. Louis, Missouri and Higginsville, Missouri before moving to Harrisonville in 1967. She had worked as a buyer for Family Center in Harrisonville for 25 years before retiring. She worked for Allen Bank as a teller for several years.


Janice is survived by one son, Mark Wilson (Andrea), Creighton, Missouri; two daughters, Laura Cumpton (Darren), Garden City, Missouri and Monica Pickett (Nathan), Lee's Summit, Missouri; two brothers, John Branham (Vi), Stella, Missouri and James Branham (Melissa), Neosho, Missouri; one sister, Joan Hatfield, Joplin, Missouri; and 5 grandchildren, Paige, Lane, Kendra, Julia, and Ava.
