Janice Lee Brewster, 65, Rich Hill, Missouri, died Saturday, May 31, 2014 in Bolivar, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri, with visitation from 10:00-11:00. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, Missouri.

Janice was born July 5, 1948 in Marshfield, Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Genevieve Lee (Helms) Todd. She attended Peculiar schools and had lived in Cass County, Missouri until moving to Rich Hill in 1998. Janice was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Peculiar, Missouri. She had worked for Wal-Mart in Harrisonville and Nevada, Missouri for 30 years before retiring as a department manager in 2010.

Her children and her grandchildren meant the world to her. She loved the outdoors and growing all of her fruit trees. She had many friends and enjoyed spending time with them and her family and friends. The greatest mother/wife/grandma anyone could have.

Janice was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Donna Schrock and her husband, Phil Schrock two brothers, Larry Todd and Robert Todd and a daughter, Sherry Lynn Snead. She is survived by her husband, Terry, of the home; one son, Mike Brewster and one daughter, Rebecca Jones (Clay), all of Rich Hill, Missouri; mother-in-law, Naomi "Tiny" Burton, Harrisonville, Missouri; three brothers, Orville Todd (Stephane), Keith Todd (Jane), and Doyle Todd, and one sister, Gayla Mills (Jeff), all of Peculiar, Missouri; 7 grandchildren, John Snead, Daryl Snead, Jenny Snead, Brandon Brewster, Dalton Brewster, all of Harrisonville, Missouri, Zeth Jones and Vincent Jones, Rich Hill, Missouri and 7 great-grandchildren, Iris, Lucas, Tristian, RayAnne, Keith, Dylan and Hunter.
