Jana L. Kindall, 65, of Greenwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully at her home on December 27, 2021.  Funeral services were held on Thursday, December 30, 2021 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. She was born on January 29, 1956 in Kansas City, MO, a daughter of James and Patricia (Abston) Clarke.  Jana grew up in Kansas City and was a 1974 graduate of Northeast High School.  She later attended Longview College where she received her Associates Degree in Applied Science.

Jana was united in marriage to Mike Kindall on June 3, 1978.  Jana and Mike lived in Raytown before moving to Greenwood in 1997, where they made a home.  Jana worked for the Lee's Summit R-7 School District as an administrative assistant for twenty-eight years before her retirement.  Jana was a member of the Abundant Life Church in Lee's Summit.  She loved spending time with her family and grandkids.  She also enjoyed sewing, quilting, needlepoint and cooking.  She was always ready for a fishing or camping trip and loved traveling with her family. Jana also enjoyed helping her husband work on classic muscle cars in their shop.

Jana was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia, and a brother, Jon.  She is survived by her husband, Mike Kindall, of the home; a son, Matt Kindall, and wife, Amanda, Lone Jack, MO; a daughter, Jennifer Yates, and husband, Joshua, Lee's Summit; her father, James G. Clarke, Pleasant Hill, MO; three brothers: Steve Clarke, Blue Springs, MO; Brett Clarke, Independence, MO; and Chad Clarke, Pleasant Hill; and her six grandchildren: Kaylee Kindall, Ryan Kindall, Jacob Yates, Aubrey Yates, Luke Yates and Katelyn Yates.
