James Winfred Nichols, 67, Harrisonville, MO, died Monday, August 27, 2018 at ABC Health Care in Harrisonville.  Funeral services were held Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian, MO.  Burial will be in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian.

James was born June 20, 1951 in Archie, MO, the son of Clarence P. and Bertha Ann (Moss) Nichols.  He had lived in Archie and Adrian before moving to Harrisonville.

James was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bob, Richard and Dave and a sister-in-law, Shirley.  He is survived by one brother, Dan Nichols and his wife, Trinity, St. Joseph, MO; two sisters-in-law, Ethel Jordan, and Carolyn Nicoll.
