James Robert Moloski, 61, Garden City, MO, died Friday, October 24, 2008 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, MO. Services will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville. The family will receive friends Monday 6:00-7:30 PM at the chapel. Jim was born April 18, 1947 in Kansas City, MO, the son of James Frank and Adelma Louise (Ruskoski) Moloski. He was united in marriage to Ginger Merritt on November 12, 1988.
Jim grew up in the Kansas City area before moving to Freeman, MO. He had lived in Harrisonville before moving to Garden City.
Jim was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He did installation and repair work for Southwestern Bell for 40 years before retiring. He was a Boy Scout leader and a member of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was also a member of the Communication Workers of America.
Jim was preceded in death by his father, a brother and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Ginger, of the home; his mother, Adelma Moloski, Freeman, MO; two sons, James E. Moloski and his wife, Ann, Garden City, MO and James C. Parker, Salt Lake City, UT; three daughters, Kim Chance, Phoenix, AZ, Kate Averett, Phoenix, AZ and Kelley Bishop and her husband, Phillip, Sedalia, MO; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
