James Harvey Gray, Jr., 66, Warsaw, MO, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Saturday, September 8, 2007 at his home. Services will be held at a later date. Contributions may be made to Benton County Hospice or the Lupus Foundation.
Jim was born January 20, 1941 in Kansas City, MO, the son of James Harvey and Lillie (Harper) Gray. He lived in Kansas City before moving to Harrisonville in 1975 and then to Warsaw in 2001. Jim was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked for Southwestern Bell as an account executive before retiring. He was a member of the Harrisonville First Baptist Church.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a daughter, Michelle Gray. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of the home; one daughter, Kathy Edwards and her husband, Robert, Harrisonville, MO and three grandchildren, Myles, Trenton and Micaela.
