Jacob Lee Hendren, 30, Kansas City, Missouri, died November 27, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri with visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Strasburg Cemetery in Strasburg, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to Jacob Hendren Memorial Fund, c/o Atkinson Funeral Home.

Jacob was born March 2, 1983 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Donald Gene Dotson and Diana Lynn Hendren. He attended Appleton City High School. Jacob enjoyed working on electronics and playing video games. He was a loving father to his two precious girls and was a beloved son.

Jacob was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Willie and Kathleen Hendren and his mother, Diana Rayburn. He is survived by two daughters, Jaimee and Ariel Hendren; his fianceé, Brandie Callahan; his father and stepmother, Donald and Patricia Dotson; stepfather, Willie Rayburn; paternal grandparents, Guy Lee Dotson and Nola Hawkins; two brothers, Josh Hendren and fianceé, Tamie Hall and Chris Hendren; stepbrothers, Jeremy Durham, Anthony Durham, Bryan Durham, Joshua Rayburn, Samuel Rayburn, Timothy Rayburn and Cleo Johnson; two sisters, Alicia Hendren (William Callahan) and Stephany Hendren; stepsisters, Ashley and Rachel Rayburn and several nieces and nephews.
