Jack D. Rabourn, 79, Adrian, Missouri went to be with the Lord January 23, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 27, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery, Adrian. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, with Masonic service at 6, also at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
Jack was born December 28, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Thomas Wesley and Daisy Irene (McGraw) Rabourn. Jack grew up on a farm west of Passaic, Missouri. He attended several rural schools for nine years, finishing at Adrian High School.
Jack was married to Beverly Horner on October 8, 1954 and they made their first home in Aurora, Colorado. After moving back to Missouri, two sons were born, Wesley Dean Rabourn and Thomas Leroy Rabourn.
Jack was an active Freemason, past Master of Crescent Hill Lodge, receiving his 50 year pin in 2010. He was always an outdoorsman and loved to hunt, fish, and spend time at the lake. In 1987, Jack and Beverly developed a great interest in making woodcrafts, attending many craft shows.
Jack was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Beverly on September 2, 2012, his parents, Thomas and Daisy Rabourn, two brothers, Lloyd Rabourn and Claude Rabourn. He is survived by sons, Wesley (Jamie) Rabourn of Adrian Missouri and Thomas (Shirley) Rabourn of Lebanon, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
