Jack L. Downen, 77, East Lynne, Missouri died Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Golden Years in Harrisonville, Missouri.
Jack was born February 23, 1935 in Kansas City, Missouri, a son of Adolph and Gertrude (True) Downen. He had lived in Kansas City, Pleasant Hill, Missouri and East Lynne. Jack was a plumber for Tip Top Plumbing and was a member of Plumbers Union Local #8. He was a member of the East Lynne Baptist Church.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters. He is survived by a son, Drew Downen, Pleasant Hill; a daughter, Michelle Streit, Harrisonville; a step-brother, Richard Brice, Indiana; a step-sister, Barbara Cecil, Warsaw, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Grace Downen, Raynham, Massachusetts; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cremation, with a memorial service to be held at a later date.
