Jack Delmon Conklin, Sr., 73, Cleveland, Missouri, died Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. A memorial visitation will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.
Jack was born October 7, 1939 in Butte, Montana, a son of Charles Floyd and Anna Elizabeth (Tourville) Conklin. He grew up in the Kellogg, Idaho area. Jack was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Little on March 3, 1967 and they lived in Kansas City before moving to Cleveland 35 years ago. Jack was a farmer most of his life.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Charles Floyd Jr. and a sister, Peggy McCullough. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Conklin, of the home; a son, Jack Conklin Jr. and his wife, Jayne Ann, Cleveland, Missouri; two brothers, Johnnie Hartman, Castle Rock, Colorado and Eddie Hartman, Hailey, Idaho; a sister-in-law, Martha Little, Cleveland and two grandchildren, Jessica Nicole Conklin and Jack D. Conklin III, Cleveland.
