Isabelle Ilene Penny, 98, Raymore, MO, passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at Foxwood Springs in Raymore, MO.  A family gathering will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Spencer Hall in Harrisonville, MO.  Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri Palliative Hospice Care., Independence, MO.

Isabelle was born December 4, 1922 to James and Isabelle (Hall) Garrison in Lebanon, MO.  She married Chester Carson Penny on May 15, 1942 in Reserve, KS.  They met at Lake City Ammunition Plant where they both worked.  Isabelle was a previous resident of Peculiar, MO, Cleveland, MO and Bolivar, MO.  She and her husband, Chester, owned BAM Air Freight Delivery in Bolivar, where she worked as the bookkeeper and assistant.

Isabelle was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chester, two sons, Carson, and Martha's twin, James, and daughter-in-law, Connie Wilt Penny, and granddaughter, Carmella Penny Belton Fatina (Michael).  She is survived by her daughter, Martha Batt (William); a son, Alan Penny (Vicki); 5 grandchildren, Trey (Crystal), Mark (Lisa), Matthew (JoAnn) Biggs, Michael Penny (Caitlin), Jacqueline Penny (Troy Smith); 11 great-grandchildren, Justin, Christopher, Bryan, Victoria Biggs, Molly Biggs, Breannan Eagle, Cayson Biggs, Dustin Belton, Sydney and Kaiden Brown, Ellie Penny; 1 great-great-grandson, Ryker Biggs and 1 great-great-granddaughter, Kinsley Helden.
