Irma Jean Kendrick, 70, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Benchmark Healthcare of Harrisonville. A Celebration of Life service will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Monday, August 5, 2013 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, Missouri. Memorial contributions may be made to the Irma Kendrick Memorial Fund, c/o Atkinson Funeral Home.

Irma was born October 14, 1942 in Adrian, Missouri, the daughter of Herbert and Dorothy (Turpen) Kendrick. She had lived in Harrisonville, Missouri for most of her life. She had worked at the Dinner Bell restaurant for 13 years and for Mission Plastics for 12 years. She had also worked for the Halfway Restaurant and the Tennessee Lunch.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one son, Verl "Chopper" Kendrick, Harrisonville, Missouri; three brothers, Clifford Kendrick, Ronnie Kendrick and Raymond Kendrick, all of Warrensburg, Missouri and two sisters, Brenda Kendrick, Windsor, Missouri and Karma Deardorff, Warrensburg, Missouri.
