Ina Marie Bechtel, 73, Belton, MO, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Golden Years Care Center, Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services 3:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO. Burial in Wills Cemetery, Peculiar, MO. Visitation 1:00-3:00 PM Tuesday at the chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or Good Shepherd Hospice.

Ina was born June 17, 1933 in Nowata, OK, the daughter of Joseph and Beulah (Lewis) Earley. She married Everett M. Bechtel on December 24, 1951 in Emporia, KS. She lived in Kansas City, MO from 1955-1977.

Ina was a graduate of Yates Center, KS High School. She moved to Belton in 1977. Ina was a department manager at Katz Drug Store in Kansas City for 12 years. She was a member of the Boy Scouts of America Mother's Club Troops 131 and 631 in Kansas City. She enjoyed bowling and quilting.

Ina was preceded by her parents, one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her husband, Everett, of the home; two sons, Larry Bechtel and his wife, Susan, Harrisonville, MO and Randy Bechtel and his wife, Melissa, Belton, MO; one daughter, Sharon McMillan and her husband, Jim, Las Vegas, NV; seven grandchildren, Jamie Lewis and her husband, Ed, Justin McMillan, Steven Bechtel and his wife, Alexis, Matthew Bechtel and Heather, Laura Bechtel, Andrew Bechtel and Christopher Bechtel; five great-grandchildren, Samantha Lewis, Sydney Lewis, Sheridan Lewis, McKenna Bechtel and Jaxon Bechtel; seven brothers, Bill Earley and his wife, Barbara, Independence, MO, Joe Earley and his wife, Vivian, Longview, TX, Tom Earley, Independence, MO, Dan Earley and his wife, Sharon, Blue Springs, MO, Harry Earley, Liberty, MO, Jerry Earley, Warsaw, MO and Jack Earley and his wife, Lynn, Oak Grove, MO and three sisters, Martha Earley, Kansas City, MO, Mary Henry and her husband, Randy, Blue Springs, MO and Janet Montavey and her husband, Sonny, Eldon, MO.
