Howard Dean Gordon, 64, of Garden City, MO, died Saturday, December 8, 2012 at his home. A graveside service will be held at 2:30p.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at Strasburg, Cemetery, Strasburg, MO. A visitation will be held 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville, MO.

Howard was born March 9, 1948 in Kansas City, MO to Howard Manley and Marjorie Lucille (Butler) Gordon. He was married to Jerri Lynn (Layden). Howard was a US Veteran.

Howard is preceded in death by his father and two brothers. He is survived by his wife, Jerri, of the home; his mother, Marjorie Gordon of Kansas City, MO; four children, Matthew Logan, Garden City, MO, Anita Hurla and husband, Martin of Paxico, KS, Toni Logan of Tampa, FL, and Cassie Evans and husband, Paul of Otis, OR; two brothers, Tim Gordon and wife, Bernice of Kansas City, MO and Kenny Gordon and wife, Sherry of Kansas City, MO; one sister, Karen Gordon, Nevada, MO; and seven grandchildren, Joshua, Alyssa, Rachel, Lucy, Emily, Bethany, and Samuel.
