Icle Hope (Wolcott) Mewhirter, 85, Peculiar, Missouri, died Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Crown Care Center in Harrisonville, Missouri. No services are scheduled. (Cremation).
Hope was born February 11, 1927 in Sheridan, Missouri, the daughter of Alonzo "Lon" and Maude Mae (Troncin) Wolcott. She was a graduate of Sheridan Schools. She moved to Topeka, Kansas after high school. Hope worked as a waitress for 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Thomas Parrett and one sister, Helen Lynch. She is survived by one son, Lonnie T. Parrett, Auburn, Washington; two daughters, June Parrett, Peculiar, Missouri and Lola Parrett, El Dorado Springs, Missouri; 3 grandchildren, Todd, Rachel and Sarah and 1 great-grandson, Craig.
