Henry Ford, 91, Harrisonville, Missouri, died Tuesday, October 29, 2013 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 1 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Orient Cemetery. Visitation 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.

Henry was born October 14, 1922 in Irwin, Missouri, the son of William Allen and Margaret Emma (Norvell) Ford. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the U. S. Coast Guard. He married Maudie May Rickman on August 18, 1943 in Carthage, Missouri.

Henry had lived in Harrisonville since 1947. He worked for Bendix for 30 years before his retirement. He was a member of the Harrisonville American Legion and the First Baptist Church in Harrisonville.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Maudie on September 16, 1993. He is survived by one daughter, Linda Yoder, Harrisonville, Missouri; 2 grandchildren, Brian Allee and Janet Vaters and 3 great-grandchildren.
