Helen Doris Nichols, 67, Adrian, MO, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Belton Regional Medical Center in Belton, MO. Memorial visitation were held June 28 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Adrian. Contributions may be made to the Helen Nichols Memorial Fund, c/o the funeral home.

Helen was born October 25, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA. She was united in marriage to Edward "Ed" Allen Nichols on December 10, 1994 and together their families became one. Helen was a wife, mother, grandmother and a homemaker. She was also a friend to everyone she met. Her love and friendship was one of a kind and her door was always open to anyone in need. Helen was especially proud of and enjoyed her grandchildren. Her smile and contagious laugh will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Ed on May 27, 2013. She is survived and will be missed by her children, Kenny, Matthew, Mary, Debbie, Jenny and Tonya; her grandchildren, Nathan, Dalton, Mark, Mason, Sarah, Chelsea, Amber, Ashley, Bailey, CaytiLyn and Levi, as well as 4 great-grandchildren.
