Helen Nadine Bailey, 95, Harrisonville, MO, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, MO.  Funeral services were held on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville.  Cremation will follow the funeral service with interment at a later date in Burford Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO.

Helen was born on  October 20, 1923 in Oak Creek, CO, a daughter of John Edward and Myrtle M. (Harper) Crotty.  She lived in Austin, MO and was a 1942 graduate of Archie High School, Archie, MO.  She was a member of the Austin Baptist Church.  Helen had worked at Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Plant in Kansas City during WW II.  She lived in Texas before moving to Harrisonville in 1990.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Albert "Jack" LaFreniere and Ray Bailey; a daughter, Elayne Jones; and a sister, Norma Fields. She is survived by two grandchildren, Michael Eubank and Angela Eubank, Krum, TX; two great-grandchildren, Ashley Hayworth and Nick Eubank; three great-great-grandchildren, and her sister, Donna Clary, Savannah, Missouri.
