Hazel Irene Singleton, 91, of Harrisonville, MO, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023 at Golden Years in Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 9, 2023 at the Abiding Love Baptist Church in Harrisonville, MO. Interment  in Orient Cemetery,  Harrisonville, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to Abiding Love Baptist Church.

Hazel was born September 17, 1931, the daughter of Karl Wesley and Martha Annabelle (Risner) Greenwood in Purvis, MO. She was a lifelong Harrisonville resident and was a graduate of Harrisonville High School.

Hazel is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eldwin Neil Singleton; and her sisters: Geneva Fraley and Annabelle Barnard. She is survived by two nieces, three nephews, and other relatives and friends.

The family extends their sincere thanks and gratitude to the staff of Golden Years and Ascend Hospice for their care, compassion, and love during Hazel's time with them.
