Hattie Frances Brizendine, 91, Redding, CA, formerly of Harrisonville, MO, died Sunday, March 19, 2017 in Redding, California. Graveside services were held Sunday, March 26 at Orient Cemetery in Harrisonville, MO.
Hattie was born September 23, 1925 in Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of Newton Fillmore and Bernita Maria (Dykes) Colvin, Sr. She attended school in Harrisonville and lived in Harrisonville until moving to California in 2006. Hattie married Carroll W. Brizendine on November 23, 1968. She was a homemaker.
Hattie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Carroll on November 23, 1968, one son, William J. Clapson, an infant brother, James Colvin, three brothers, George Ray Colvin, Vernon "Dutch" Colvin, and Newt Colvin, three sisters, Mary Colvin, Eleanor Colvin, and Edna Pearl Bauman. She is survived by two daughters, Colleen Perkins, CA, and Donna Lootens, Redding, CA; two sisters, Betty Colvin, Harrisonville, MO and Doris Colvin, Webb City, MO; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
