Harry Lee Karg departed this life Saturday, March 17, 2012 at his home in Archie, MO at the age of 66 years. A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Atkinson Chapel in Harrisonville, MO with graveside services to follow at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.

Harry was born July 12, 1945 in Harrisonville, MO, the son of Grover and Doneta (Riggs) Karg. He was united in marriage to Nicki Davenport in Harrisonville on June 2, 1973.

Harry hauled water to the rural community and drove a dump truck. Later he worked for Cass County Concrete and then retired from Cass County Road and Bridge. His hobbies were riding his trike, riding motorcycles and going to the dirt tracks to watch his friends race.

Harry was preceded in death by both his parents. He is survived by his wife, Nicki Karg and his grandson, Cody Taylor, of the home; one son, Dwayne Karg and wife, Julie, Harrisonville, MO; two daughters, Christy Cameron of Belton, MO and Melissa Stevens and husband, Lee, Appleton City, MO; one sister, Donna Sue Karg; 9 other grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
