Harriet Frances Wigginton, 88, Raymore, MO, died Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, July 5 at Orient Cemetery, Harrisonville, MO. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM Monday, July 7 at Foxwood Springs Living Center, 1500 West Foxwood Drive, Raymore, MO, in the Bromwell Lounge. Harriet was born March 6, 1920 in Harrisonville, MO, the daughter of Lawrence and Mary (Hutchinson) Martin. She was a 1939 graduate of Harrisonville High School. Harriet worked for Nelly Don Garment Company for 33 years before retiring and later worked for Old American Insurance for six years.
Harriet married Robert H. Page in 1943; he died in 1982. In 1985, she married William David Wigginton; he died in 1989. Harriet moved to Foxwood Springs in Raymore in January, 1986. She was a member of the Raymore Christian Church and was a 50-year member of the Swope Park Chapter No. 520, Order of Eastern Star, Kansas City, MO and White Shrine.
Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands, Robert Page and David Wigginton, three brothers, Lawrence, Jr., James and David and one sister, Virginia. She is survived by one sister-in-law, Anna Lee Martin, Gladstone, MO; nephew, J. R. Martin, Subic Bay, Philippine Islands; and three cousins, Pauline Karnowski, Overland Park, KS, Stanley Hutchinson and Zella DeWelles, both of California.
