Harriet Elizabeth Dutton DeBrot (Aldrich), 79, Lee's Summit, MO, passed away at her home in Lee's Summit on Monday, October 7, 2019.  Funeral services were held  Friday, October 11, at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville, MO. Burial  in Peculiar Cemetery, Peculiar, MO.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Harriet's name may be made to the Samaritan's Purse (samaritanspurse.org), Hope of the World (hope of the world.org), Wounded Warrior Project (woundedwarriorproject.org, or Journey Church International Building Fund, Lee's Summit, MO.

Harriet was born December 19, 1939 in Ballard, MO, a daughter of William H. and Muril May (Fox) Dutton.  She was a 1957 graduate and valedictorian of Ballard High School.  She was united in marriage to Charles E. DeBrot on October 26, 1958.  She had worked for Boatmen's Bank in Belton.  Harriet was a member of the First Assembly of God in Independence, MO.  She had lived in Peculiar, MO, Belton and Harrisonville before moving to Lee's Summit in 2016.

Harriet was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, on March 25, 1996, her parents, three sisters, and three brothers.  She is survived by two sons, Mark DeBrot (Loretta), East Lynne, MO and Keith DeBrot (Vicki), Harrisonville, MO; one daughter, Cindy DeLuca (David), Lee's Summit, MO; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
