Harold "Pete" Lee Hatch, 90, Harrisonville, MO, died Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Funeral services were held Monday, January 22, 2018 at the Atkinson Fuenral Home in Harrisonville with burial in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to Freeman Cemetery Association.
Pete was born February 26, 1927 in Drexel, MO, one of 10 children born to Richard Allen and Florence May (Moyer) Hatch. He was a 1945 graduate of Drexel High School. He had lived in Harrisonville for 21 years.
Pete was a dairy farmer. He married Marguerite Louise Gage on April 14, 1947. He was a member of the First Chirstian Church in Harrisonville. Pete was a WWII U. S. Army veteran.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Marguerite on February 7, 2008, six siblings, and one grandchild. He is survived by three sons, Glen Hatch, Harrisonville, MO, Don Hatch, Butler, MO, and Robert Hatch, Drexel, MO; three sisters, Margaret McRae, La Cygne, KS, Jean Hodge, Aberdeen, WA, and Vivian Sickman, Flemington, MO; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandson.
