Harley Franklin "Mack" McCulley, Jr., 79, Harrisonville, MO, died Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Cass Medical Center, Harrisonville, MO. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, May 24, 2008 at the Atkinson Chapel, Harrisonville with visitation from 9:00-10:00 AM Saturday at the chapel. Burial will be in Freeman Cemetery, Freeman, MO.
Mack was born February 22, 1929 in Chillicothe, MO, the son of Harley Franklin and Anna (Cousins) McCulley, Sr. He married Dovie Margaret Blair on May 10, 1954 in Princeton, MO.
Mack worked for Bendix-Allied signal as a machinist for 31 years before retiring. He was a jack of all trades and was a very good machinist. He enjoyed farming, going to auctions and being with his family. Mack was a U. S. Army veteran and a member of the Naval Reserve.
Mack was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Dovie, on June 17, 2006, one sister, Ella Swan and an infant brother. He is survived by one son, John McCulley and his wife, Trish, Harrisonville, MO; three daughters, Anna Meihl and her husband, Philip, Donna Kagarice and her husband, Steve, all of Harrisonville, MO and Joyce Worth and her husband, David, Blue Springs, MO; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
