H. Harold Unnewehr, 83, Harrisonville, MO, died Friday, June 16, 2017 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville. Memorial services were held Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at the Atkinson Funeral Home in Harrisonville with inurnment in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Harrisonville.

Harold was born March 10, 1934 in Harrisonville, Missouri to Henry William and Opal Myrtle (Hoenshell) Unnewehr. He graduated from Archie High School, Archie, Missouri. He had a farm in Cass County; he loved his cattle, land and nature. Harold was a member of the United Methodist church in Harrisonville. He was a past president of the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery Association and had owned Unnewehr Car Wash in Harrisonville for many years. Harold was a U.S. Army veteran.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Virginia on December 28, 2016, an infant daughter, Katherine, and a sister, Rose Marie Jones. He is survived by one brother, Donald Unnewehr and his wife, Carolyn, Harrisonville, MO.
